Hi folks!
If you know me from elsewhere you are familiar with this challenge. In honor of National Poetry Month (april) poets all over the web are participating in the 30/30 challenge - 30 poems in 30 days. I've done multiple sets of these and trust me, once you get going it's not as hard as it seems. Since we are all not starting on the same day - this will end up going on beyond April. I've found that once people complete a set, they get hungry for another thread so hopefully this will last a while.
-----------
Here is the premise:
Each participating poet will get their own thread here in Rhetorical Insights.
From the day your thread is created, you will post a poem a day for thirty days. It can be any length, any style, any format you so choose. The point is just to write. Daily.
Feedback is not only welcome, but is encouraged in the threads. Feel free to post your pieces in the forum as well. Though some will end up just random scraps, others will turn into pieces that are truly works of art. Think of it as a jumpstart for your pen.
And the clear-cut details:
WHO: you!
WHAT: write and post a poem of any length / style / format etc each day for thirty days.
WHERE: here in Rhetorical Insights.
(you can also post completed pieces in the regular PS forum)
WHEN: Whenever. respond in this thread and your challenge will last for 30 days from when your personal thread is created by myself or a poetry mod. If you skip a day, no worries. It might take you more than 30 days to complete the challenge. Just number your posts 1-30 and keep going.
WHY: Because we want to stretch our poetic muscles. And we want to separate the weak from the strong. lol
HOW: Send a pm and she will create your thread!
Do you have it in you? Can you make it to the end?
NOTE:: You can request in this thread... or send a pm to abiona and I will get back to you much quicker
