Despite the difficult Nameplay - of "Phalanx", you'd think I'd have total respect \ for an old vet:
(not the case) he's prolly an old man who gets no sex...I don't needta hold techs, just outwrite 'im like I own text!
Vote - Phal, Idk i like where pharaohs was going but it just fell flat to me
Or maybe I’m missing something? Lol, the set up was fire then the punch
Just lacked sting for me idk. Phal gets my vote on a clean punch here.
Got Phal taking this one. Good flow, dope concept and an overall nice bar. Pharaoh’s concept felt a little all over the place. V/Phal
I think Phal had more in the way of a personal attack with the Red Sea being parted idea conceptually, I also felt PA struggled a little maybe this week as he wasn’t familiar with his opponent…and it sort of showed in the setup, and punchline, to me here.

i can see execution difficulties in armys bar probably due to the fact i believe hes from topical world.. (not the case) he's prolly an old man who gets no sex.. being 50% of your punchline does not serve well unless you lead it to a super good spin off. I know you can creatively come up with concepts just need to execute them on a more harsh and direct way
on the other hand phalanx had me 50/50 with the red sea which i think was bit predictable since the setup but i think he creatively pulled this off in a way that didnt seem so played.. v/ phalanx
Really liked Pharoah's own outright idea, the impact of the punch wasn't quite there unfortunately. Phal's biblical theme & name flip was solid throughout & I got him taking this.
Vote Phalanx
v/Phal
i liked Pharaohs apporach but i didnt like the outcome. it lacked any significant sting factor. Phal was solid as usual. i definitely feel like phal had more in his bag for this name play and i feel a bit cheated. gg boys

Pharoah didn't really come with much, this reminded me of the slaughterhouse vs actual battlers battle where they brought in track verses and got ate up. There's a few differences to writing in text battles from normal battles. The punchlines are generally done quicker and there's a lot hanging on the setup. The flow is important too when someone is reading it, Pharoahs shit made me put on my reading glasses as I felt I was just reading a post and thought dude was just talking at first. Phalanx bar this week wasn't as good as last weeks sadly, it felt stretched and almost like it was written either by someone else or someone that didn't care too much.
