1. Phalanx (10-0) vs 16. SecondRobert (0-0)
Shout outs to Second here. Late arrival to the season, but he showed up AND voted. Thats more than can be said for some.
Phalanx advances.

2. Fresh (4-1) vs 15. Mal Diction (2-8)
Fresh pulled of the sweep with a simple but creative wordplay with some personal relevance. Mal's season ends here, but he deserves credit for growth over the season.

3. Infamous 1 (4-1) vs 14. Fitzgerald (1-2)
BotW right here. Both had clean punches, and executed nicely. Ultimately Fitz's creative nameflip won the decision, ending what was a really strong run for Infamous1.

4. Kill Spree (8-3) vs 13. Knoxville (6-9)
Solid veteran clash here. Knox had a solid jab, but Spree's creative wp was lights out.

5. Slayerr (8-4) vs 12. King Dee Bee (5-6)
This was a solid match. Closer then the score indicates. In the end, despite being "initially" favored, Slayerr gets upset.

7. King (2-1) vs 11. Robocop (7-8)
This was a nice veteran clash. Both drove home their concepts with solid execution. In the end, King pulls off the marquee win and adds some legitimacy to his short run.

6. Blas (4-2) vs 12. Blue Bayou (7-7)
In perhaps the biggest surprise of the round, Bayou takes a week off from playing league troll, and ends Blas's hotstreak.

8. Mac (9-6) vs 9. MV (8-8)
Another solid clash. MV got creative, but some voters took issues with the phonetics. Perhaps accents are to blame? Mac hits double digit wins on the season & sets up a possible revenge story in round 2.

Gotta go with Slayerr. I have no idea whos run was better but slayerr is just an innocent little guy and i couldn't see myself not giving it to him for this reason.

What tournament/league format would you like to see in the future?

Audio would be nice since I'm honing my skills over there. Other than that just a regular text tournament.
