The court is in recess taking lunch, and they are to resume shortly. I believe she will get her sentence today, as the closing arguments were given this morning. There is no way she is getting off of this. If she gets off of this with JUST Manslaughter, I will be surprised. If she comes out with 1st Degree Capital murder, it will blow my mind as well, because of the fact the "Where, When, and Why" were never proved. What do you guys think?

So what's the big deal about this trial? I don't know anything about it other than she killed her kid. Which plenty of people have done before, but it doesn't seem like it garners this much attention every time.

its really a big argument between the claims of the prosecutors and the defenders, ryan.
prosecutors: she killed her kid by suffocation and had the body taken off. no real substantial forensic proof. no real evidence other than she won't talk about it.
defenders: you don't have any fucking evidence, dickheads. you're wrong. she's innocent.
prosecutors say she killed the child because she was a single parent and her child was getting in the way of the young woman's new relationship.
that's all there really is to know.
