lol. it's not that hard. It's all about trial and error, eventually you'll get it.
The hardest boss was when i played against another player. That fight was CRAZY. 25 minutes of dodging his huge ass sword. demouls souls is def. one of my favorite games.
Word. The main reason it's so hard is because it's such a unique style of gameplay. We're not use to games that are as unforgiving as this.

trial and error is all well and good, but when it saves every other second and the more you die the darker it gets...just sayin it wasnt your average rpg
like i said i really liked it but when a game is as unforgiving as that its sometimes hard to motivate yourself to play it over again to try and get past a paticular point
Yeah, I know what you mean. But that's what the game is about. It was designed especially to be challenging. If it was just like any other RPG, it wouldn't have the same appeal. We've got the likes of oblivion for easy rpgs.
btw, the world only gets darker if you die in body form. After you kill a demon and get your body back, you should go to the nexus and jump off the stairs from a good height and kill yourself to go back to soul form. That way you don't really have anything to worry about if you die in a world.

Demon Souls wasn't that hard to me... idk why everyone talks about it like it was the hardest game ever. you just had to be smart about what you were doing. wasn't any harder then Diablo 2 on Hell mode though.
I've still yet to play Demons Souls.

If anyone is planning on getting this you should preorder the game now, because if you do you automatically get the limited edition version of the game at no extra cost. The limited ed has, among other things, a guide/walkthough like the Black Phantom edition had for Demons Souls.

Yeah Demon's Souls was incredibly hard but I guess that's part of it's charm.
