lol..word this shit is dope...the strings are crazy.....dope remix..
Strings are like "I'm coming for ya ass" I like it. Synth or horn is nice. I like that rattle. Hihat is cool. I think clap should be turned up. That snare is dope... you use it more than once, but I know that you use it at around 3 minutes. Hot man. You that shit at remixes. I'd like to see you do 2 things though, make a remix to a hip hop track. Make a beat with no acapella. Just a plain beat. You got a lot more room to work with when you don't have to follow an acapella..... so yeah... I wanna see those 2 things for you.... very soon too. Keep at it!!!

Floatn in a meadow, dragonflies all around me
Seeded in a ghetto, smokin cigarellos
Stress oceans try to drown me
Walking on water like when Christ did, glidin
Mic in my plam like the trident in the hand of Poseidon

^Lol... what? Well... at least for me, it's a lot easier to make an instrumental without having to follow an acapella. I don't hear a lot of Kris's beats... just pure beats... no acapella. I wanna see Kris do that . Plus... I'd like to see Kris make a hip hop track. I'm not saying that "Yo man... I'm better than you.... so ima give you some tips to improve". Kris is obviously a better producer than me. But me.... personally.... I just wanna see him do those things, out of my preference, not out of him improving his skills.
Check my sig for hip hop stuff I did Palamoon. I produced every joint except "gumbo". I've been doing hiphop forever. I don't post instrumentals online cuz its just not smart for me business wise. I might as well give my tracks away for free. I do remixes for fun and experimentation. Then I take what i learned in that experiment and use it in tracks that I shop to artists and publishers.
For instance, in this remix I used some sounds I wouldn't normally use like the tape strings off the motif. A lot of people weren't feeling them. So that let's me know not to use that idea on a big project. Also I did more change ups than I've ever done in any track. I think that I didnt quite nail down a cohesive groove for the song itself by doing this. I had this remix checked out by Ken Lewis, the original mixer of the album version of the song. He gave me some great insight on what worked and didnt work for this from the view of someone who mixes hit records all day for a living.
So personally I appreciate all feedback I get. Cuz I do use it all in one way or another.
