    its about the life and times in a small city....drug wars basically...


    its in subtitles...there speakig porteguese i think.

    so if your put off by that....STILL watch the fucking movie cause its so dope...

    it was based on a true story...

    i seriously wasint into the thought cause i heard it had subtitles but once i got to watching it i didint give a damn....

    seriously great acting, story and directed to match...

    yo i seen this lil series called "city of man" and they speak sum sorta language too...its also in subtitles and its set sumwhere in south america, its all about gangsterisms n shit, i think its a CITY OF GOD spin off series, i aint seen city of god thou

    It was a very good movie. I watched it with my friend who had already seen it. I predicted a lot of the things that were happening though so he got mad.

    Word that movie was good. And yes they were speaking Portugeese...the movie is in Brazil, in the slums.


    I found it real dope how in the end it all connects and evryone gets what they deserve. Real well put together story.

    It's been coming on Starz alot lately..ive seen it a few times on DVD..dope movie..and it was a true story....I also saw that documentary Bus 174....the poverty is so intense and the jails so horrid in Brazil..it's crazy.

    I have seen it, It was very slow at first then it picked up but if I was the director I would of placed a documentry/movie on the palestinan and isreal conflict but not like the fat ass liberal michale morrison.
